One-Year Visiting Position in German

The Reed College German Department invites applications for a one-year visiting position, to begin in the fall of 2021. Area of specialization: any period after 1700. The successful candidate will teach a broad range of language, literature, and culture courses and advise senior theses. Candidates must have native or near-native fluency in German and the Ph.D. in hand or near completion. Above all, we seek candidates with a lively program of scholarship and a commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level.
