Assistant Professor of Rhetoric/Composition

Tenure-track position in Rhetoric/Composition, with expertise in Rhetorics of Health and Medicine, Rhetorics of Science, or Technical Communication, and some administrative experience, at the rank of assistant professor. Effective August, 2020. Ph.D. required.

The successful candidate will offer courses in scientific and technical writing, upper level composition, rhetorical theory and criticism, courses in their specialty, as well as courses that contribute to the College’s general education requirements. The standard annual teaching load is five courses. The College provides a generous sabbatical leave program and professional development support for both research and teaching.
