Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of African-American and/or African Diaspora Literature

The Department of English at Florida International University invites applications for an open rank position (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor) in African American and/or African Diasporic Literature beginning Fall 2020. Applicants should have a PhD in English, Comparative Literature, or a related field in hand by August 2020. The successful candidate will have a 2/2 course load over nine months and will teach lower- and upper-division undergraduate literature courses, in addition to teaching and advising Master’s students.
