African American Literature and Culture

The Department of English at California State University, Bakersfield, seeks applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position specializing in African American literature and culture, with an expected start date of August 2022.  Interest in the areas of critical race theory and composition are desirable.  Qualifications: Ph.D., a successful research agenda, and a commitment to service.
