We seek a dynamic teacher and practitioner who is aware of new developments in our evolving media landscape and is prepared to support a diverse group of students making and critiquing media that intervene in a range of contemporary social issues. This new faculty member will play a key role in the new Digital Media & Film program by teaching courses that integrate filmmaking and digital media production at various levels. In addition, we are seeking a candidate who can teach one or more of these course offerings: Introduction to Film Studies, Introduction to Filmmaking, and History of Cinema.

The field of specialization is open, but we are especially interested in candidates with experience in areas such as digital content creation, digital journalism, and/or film and digital media production. We particularly encourage applications from candidates with expertise in contemporary Black, Latinx, and indigenous media production and activism.
