Assistant Professor of Arabic

The Department of Modern Languages at the University of Mississippi seeks a tenure-track assistant professor for its Arabic Language Flagship Program beginning August 2020. This person will teach all levels of Arabic following the program's curriculum, conduct research in any aspect of the field, and perform service for the program and department. The successful candidate should have substantial experience in teaching Arabic to American university students, a Ph.D. in Arabic or a related field by the time of appointment, and native or near-native proficiency in Arabic.  Interested candidates should visit https://careers.olemiss.edu/ to complete an application by uploading a cover letter and a CV listing the names and contact information for three references.
