Assistant Professor, Race, Diaspora, and Indigeneity

The Department of English Language and Literature at Yale University seeks to hire one or more tenure-track assistant professors specializing in race, diaspora, and/or indigeneity starting July 1, 2023. We seek outstanding scholars and teachers whose work focuses on any historical period and is primarily engaged with questions of race, diaspora, migration, and/or indigeneity. We welcome transnational and hemispheric approaches to studying textual forms. We are especially interested in scholars of Latinx literature, Asian American literature, Native American and/or Global Indigenous literature, or Caribbean literature. PhD or equivalent degree is expected at time of hire.
