The Department of English at Millersville University seeks an Assistant Professor of English with a focus in Latinx literatures and cultures. The successful candidate is required to have a Ph.D. in English or Comparative Literature (or related discipline), or ABD with Ph.D. by time of appointment, with a focus in Latinx literatures and cultures or related field, and with academic expertise not only in the U.S. Latinx literatures and cultures but also in literatures and cultures of Latin America and/or the Caribbean. Actual assignments will depend upon department needs. Four courses per semester, with potential for summer teaching.  Current needs exist in both traditional and online learning environments.
