Pforzheimer Fellowship

The City College of New York's Department of English invites applications for a one-year Pforzheimer Fellowship in English or American Literature, beginning August 2020. Applicants must have a PhD at the time of the appointment, with a specialty in African American Literature, Black British Literature, Afro-Latinx Literatures, or Anglo-Caribbean Literatures. The successful applicant will carry a 2/1 teaching load and be eligible for renewal in the second year. Also required are the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
