General English Studies Full-time Faculty

Duties/Expectations: 

• Position* begins August 1, 2020
• Teach English literature and composition courses.
• Participate in faculty meetings and other academic discussions.
• Maintain an active research program, including scholarly publications.
• Serve on department, college, and/or university committees.

Required Degree: PhD (required degree must be completed by the start date). *This position may be filled with a visiting faculty candidate, in which an MA or MFA is the minimum degree required. In lieu of scholarship and citizenship expectations, a visiting instructor has an increased teaching load.
