The Language and Communication Centre (LCC) in SoH offers communication courses to undergraduate and graduate students across the university, particularly in the disciplines of engineering, the humanities, sciences, and social sciences.

The School of Humanities seeks to fill 3 Lecturer positions in LCC. Candidates who have the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:

  • PhD in Applied Linguistics, English for Academic Purposes, Linguistics, Literature, or Rhetoric and Composition

  • Experience in teaching academic and/or discipline-specific writing

  • Interest in new media and digital literacy

  • An active research agenda

Successful candidates will be expected to teach academic writing and communication skills, and to conduct research.
