Assistant Professor of Spanish

Duties: SUNY New Paltz is accepting applications for an Assistant Professor of Spanish position to begin Fall 2020. Duties include: Teaching lower division courses in Spanish language and the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Program (LACS), upper-division and graduate literature and culture courses in Spanish; and service to the department, LACS, and the college. Teaching load is typically 18 credits/year.  Qualifications: Ph.D. in Spanish with additional expertise in Latino/a literature, performance studies or gender/queer studies required. ABD candidates with a firm date of completion will be considered. Candidates must provide evidence of post-secondary teaching experience and proficiency with instructional technology.
