Assistant Professor of English

St. Norbert College (www.snc.edu) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of English with expertise in 19th-century British literature. Potential secondary interests include 18th-century British literature and global studies. PhD in literature required. Teaching duties consist of three courses per semester, including Introduction to Literary Studies, major courses by specialty, and a topical capstone seminar, as well as contributions to the First Year Seminar and to the Core Curriculum. Additional responsibilities involve student advising, service on college committees, and other typical collegial duties. A desire to teach at the undergraduate level and an active scholarly agenda are essential.
