Assistant Teaching Professor of Spanish
Penn State Erie, The Behrend College is seeking applications for a one semester (six-month), full-time, non-tenure track, assistant teaching professor position in Spanish beginning January 2021.
- A master's degree in Spanish, or a related field, is required by the appointment date; a PhD is preferred.
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English; a minimum of one year of experience teaching beginning and intermediate level Spanish at the college level are expected.
- Familiarity with General Education courses and ACTFL proficiency guidelines are desirable.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching two Spanish language courses and a General Education course on Latin American culture.
Penn State Behrend is an undergraduate and graduate college of The Pennsylvania State University.
