Assistant Professor, French and Francophone Studies, One-Year Visiting Position

The Department of French & Francophone Studies at The College of Wooster welcomes applications for a one-year, Visiting Professor position for the August 2021-2022 academic year. Teaching responsibilities will include 6 courses a year and the supervision of credited independent thesis projects as part of the College’s Independent Study program. All specializations in French and Francophone Studies will be considered, but preferred candidates will hold a PhD in French Linguistics and/or second-language acquisition, and have experience in beginning language instruction. Native or near-native fluency in French required.

We are especially interested in hiring faculty who can contribute to the intellectual vibrancy and diversity of the academic community through their teaching, research, and service.
