The Department of Film and Theatre, housed within the College of Humanities & Arts at San José State University, seeks qualified candidates for the full-time position of Assistant Professor in Radio-Television-Film Studies with a Ph.D. in film/media history, research, theory, and criticism. Candidates whose work is informed by Ethnic Studies or intersectional issues of ethnicity, class, and/or gender are encouraged to apply. We seek candidates with a demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to the educational goals of multicultural populations.
