The Professional Writing and Rhetoric Program within the Department of English seeks a full-time lecturer to serve half-time as Assistant Director of the University Writing Center and to teach a half-time load of undergraduate writing courses—either first-year or upper-level. Experience working in writing centers is required, and experience teaching advanced composition or technical writing is desired. Candidates should be able to demonstrate teaching excellence and a dedication to undergraduate teaching and should have the Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition (or a related field) in hand at the start of the appointment.
