Visiting Assistant Professor in German

The Modern Languages and Literatures discipline welcomes applications for a visiting assistant professor in German beginning fall 2020. This is a one-year position, renewable up to three years, dependent upon funding, performance, and course enrollments. Candidates are expected to have their Ph.D. in hand by fall 2020, and be able to demonstrate a solid pedagogical foundation, teaching experience, excellent language skills, and an active scholarly agenda. This position further offers the possibility of teaching a course in one’s area of expertise in English within the College’s core curriculum. Select candidates will be invited to interview at the MLA convention or via video conferencing.
