The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures in the Gwen Ifill College of Media, Arts, and Humanities at Simmons University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in 19th and 20th century Spanish Peninsular literature starting in Fall 2020.

Qualifications:

 

 

  • Must hold a Ph.D. or ABD in Spanish.
  • The successful candidate must speak native or near-native Spanish, be able to coordinate and teach courses in the Spanish language program, and also teach culture and literature courses in the Spanish major.
  • We are seeking candidates with experience both coordinating and teaching at the college level in the USA as well as candidates with demonstrable scholarship potential.
  • Applicants with a record of teaching and research related to Transatlantic topics are especially invited to apply.
