Assistant Professor, Literature and Book and Media History

<p>The Department of English at the University of Louisville invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to teach courses in Book and Media History, with a secondary interest in early American literature. In Fall 2020 the Department introduced a new structure to the major and students now take a common core and one of three tracks: literature, creative writing, professional writing. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a record of teaching and scholarship in literature and also in book and media history, as these may inform courses across all levels of the core and at least one track. Ph.D. in English or related field required.
