Description
Albion College invites applications for a one-year visiting faculty member with a specialization in modern American literature to teach college writing and literature. We are especially interested in candidates who will engage our diverse students and inclusive learning community and contribute to a campus climate that supports equity, diversity, and belonging. Ph.D or A.B.D. required. 3/3 teaching load. Primary responsibilities include face-to-face teaching of college writing, introductory literature, and American literature. Additional responsibilities may include teaching in our Honors program. Several semesters’ teaching experience at the college level and a record of publication are expected. The English Department has a long-term commitment to diversity in the curriculum and in its faculty, as well as to excellence in teaching and scholarship.
