The successful candidate will teach two core courses in WGSS (Introduction to Sex, Gender and Society, and Contemporary Issues in Feminism), a third elective course, and two courses in the Department of English and Creative Writing, focusing on Asian American literature, culture, or creative writing. The teaching load of five courses will be distributed across the fall, winter, and spring quarters. There are no service expectations. This is a non-tenure track position with the possibility of renewal for a second year depending on the staffing needs of the departments. In evaluating the applications, we’ll consider evidence of teaching experience and/or potential, as well as evidence of an active research program.
