Visiting Assistant Professor in Spanish with Spanish for Business Focus

The Department of Hispanic Studies invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor with a start date of August 16, 2021.

The successful candidate will contribute significantly to and teach & advise students within Hispanic Studies’ growing and dynamic Business Language Minor in Spanish. As such, a demonstrated background in teaching Spanish for Business courses at the beginning through advanced levels is a must. Ph.D. must be conferred by the start date for the position.

Teaching load 4-4. At least two years of full-time collegiate teaching experience is required. Online teaching experience highly preferred. Requires native or near-native fluency in Spanish, and strong command of English.
