Visiting Lecturer in English

The Department of English at Mount Holyoke College invites applications for a full-time Visiting Lecturer position in twentieth- and/or twenty-first century transnational literatures.  Interests might include Anglophone literatures of Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean; and postcolonial, decolonial, diasporic, and cosmopolitan studies. This is a one-year, non-renewable teaching position with a 3/2 teaching load.

Applicants should submit a cover letter, C.V., and three statements (1,500 words each) concerning research interests, teaching philosophy, and the mentoring of a diverse student body. Applicants should also arrange to have three letters of reference submitted on their behalf. Consideration of applications will begin May 3.
