Visiting Assistant Professor in Spanish

The Department of Spanish and Italian invites applicants for several positions as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Spanish, beginning July 2021. Full-time, one-year appointment with benefits. Teaching load is six courses per year, primarily in introductory and intermediate Spanish classes. Area of specialization open.
Qualifications: M.A. minimum, PhD preferred, in Spanish or related field. ABDs will be considered. Applicants should have native or near-native fluency in both Spanish and English. Preference will be given to applicants with training related to foreign language pedagogy and experience teaching undergraduate Spanish language courses in a 4-year college or university setting.
