Assistant Professor of English and Cultural Studies

Full-time, tenure-track appointment to start Sept. 1, 2020. 

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in English and/or Cultural Studies, experience with diverse populations, and a passion for social justice grounded in Christian faith.  Courses will include a possible combination of US Multi-Ethnic Literature, African American Literature, Latinx Literature, and writing courses related to Cultural Studies or US Multi-Ethnic Literature.  Many of these courses count towards both the Social Justice and Cultural Studies major and the English Literature major, which includes a required Cultural Studies component.

Founded in 1891, Seattle Pacific University has a long and distinguished history in Christian higher education.
