You will collaborate with colleagues in the Office of Programs and across the MLA and with faculty members and humanities professionals across the country to help design and deliver professional development programming for the MLA Academic Program Services Summer Seminars and for the MLA Annual Convention, as well as through webinars and other workshops. You’ll also assist in the development of web resources and publications for MLA members and other humanities scholars.
You should be familiar with language, literature, writing, and cultural studies programs in higher education. Teaching experience or administrative experience at a humanities center or humanities organization is desirable, along with good writing and digital skills, experience working with or on committees, and some familiarity with maintaining budgets. HTML and basic web editing skills would be a plus.
