Comparative Literature

The Department of Comparative Arts & Letters invites applications for a tenure-track position in its Comparative Literature section, beginning fall 2022.  Expectations for the positions are: 3/2 or 2/3 course load (with additional summer teaching desired), consisting of upper-division seminars in comparative literature, plus General Education civilization courses; regular publication of research in area of specialization; committee work.  All academic ranks and specialties of Comparative Literature are welcome to apply.  Specialization in non-Western literature is desirable. Required degree: PhD (or foreign equivalent) in Comparative Literature or related field, degree completed before August 2022.
