Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Spanish

Kenyon College Department of Modern Languages and Literatures invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Spanish, with a specialization in the literatures and cultures of Mexico and Central America, beginning July 1, 2022. We are seeking a candidate with a strong research program and the ability to teach a variety of undergraduate courses, including all levels of language and composition, Spanish American literatures and cultures, as well as upper-level electives in their area of specialization. Teaching load is five courses per year. Candidates who incorporate interdisciplinary approaches to teaching Latinx literatures will receive strong consideration.  

Applicants must have a Ph.D. by time of appointment and native or near-native command of Spanish and English. Candidates with a demonstrated commitment to diversity and equity are particularly encouraged to apply.
