Assistant Professor in American Literature and Culture Pre-1865

The English Department at Oklahoma State University seeks to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor in American literature and culture pre-1865, contingent upon available funding. Applicants who conduct research in early American literature and culture across diverse communities and/or in conjunction with gender studies are especially welcome. The faculty member would teach two courses a semester at the undergraduate and graduate levels and conduct research in the field of specialization. There are also opportunities for interdisciplinary outreach and collaboration with the American Studies program, the American Indian Studies program, the Center for Africana Studies, Digital Studies, and the Gender and Women's Studies program.
