Assistant Professor, Tenure-Track, Spanish

Position Description

Baylor University seeks a dynamic colleague to fill this position in the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures beginning August 2022.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in the field of Hispanic Linguistics required (in hand by start date). Research or teaching specialization in Spanish for health professions desired. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a research and teaching agenda appropriate for an R1 institution and will be encouraged to seek external funding (fellowships, grants, and the like). Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and English required.
