Description

The Department of German, Russian and East European Studies invites applications for a Senior Lecturer in German Language. This is a full-time appointment with an initial term of three years, renewable conditional on institutional need and instructor performance. The teaching load is three courses per semester.

Our ideal candidate is committed to excellence in student-centered Communicative Language Teaching; will teach German language courses at all levels; will develop curriculum in collaboration with the Language Program Director; has experience or interest in teaching German for the Professions (business, engineering, sustainability, etc.); is eager to support our program’s outreach and recruitment efforts; and is committed to equitable and inclusive teaching.
