Visiting Assistant Professor in Spanish / Spanish for Business Focus

The Department of Hispanic Studies invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professorship in Spanish (specialization open), with an additional special focus on Spanish for Business.

The successful candidate will contribute significantly and regularly to and teach & advise students within Hispanic Studies’ growing and dynamic Business Language Minor in Spanish. As such, a demonstrated background in teaching and developing Spanish for Business courses at the beginning through advanced levels is desired.

Teaching load 4/4. Ph.D. required by time of appointment. At least two years of full-time collegiate teaching experience required. Online teaching experience and experience in Collaborative International Online Learning highly desirable. Requires native or near-native fluency in Spanish, and strong command of English.
