Assistant Professor of English in Global Anglophone Literatures (Tenure-track)

The English Department at Wittenberg University seeks to hire a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor specializing in global Anglophone literature beginning August 1, 2022. The successful candidate will demonstrate support for diversity, equity and inclusiveness as well as participate in maintaining a respectful, positive work environment. The teaching load is six courses annually; teaching responsibilities will include global Anglophone literature, introductory literature, introduction to literary studies, first-year seminar, and possibly a British/global Anglophone survey. Desirable additional teaching areas include global Shakespeare, creative writing (poetry), and journalism.
