The Department of Modern Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at the University of Oklahoma invites applications for a tenure-track position in Italian at the level of Assistant Professor, with a specialization in modern Italian literature and/or culture. The position is a 9-month faculty appointment and carries a teaching load of four classes per year.
Minimum requirements: Ph.D. in Italian or a related field at the time of appointment; record of research publications and/or evidence of outstanding research potential; evidence of teaching excellence; native or near-native fluency in Italian and excellent command of English.
