Assitant Professor (in the field of modern and contemporary drama and theatrical performance)

The Department of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the field of modern and contemporary drama and theatrical performance to begin July 1, 2020. To be eligible, candidate must have received the Ph.D. before July 1, 2020. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a spectrum of graduate and undergraduate courses in the field; the successful candidate also will teach two courses per year in Columbia’s Core Curriculum, typically Literature Humanities, and will have the opportunity to join the faculty of the Ph.D. Program in Theatre.
