The Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Tulane University seeks to hire a non-tenure-track Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish to begin January 10, 2022, with expected renewal for the 2022-2023 academic year. The successful candidate will teach three courses of beginning and intermediate Spanish language per semester. Applicants must have the Ph.D. at the time of appointment, native or near-native proficiency in Spanish, extensive university teaching experience, and a strong commitment to second-language pedagogy.
