Full-time Lecturer in European Languages and Transcultural Studies (German Section) for AY 2022-2023

The Department of European Languages and Transcultural Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles invites applications for a full-time lecturer position in German for the 2022-2023 academic year. We are looking for a candidate with proven record of excellence in teaching. Responsibilities include teaching a combination of lower- and upper-division courses in German language and culture and supporting undergraduate engagement and outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate must be able to teach in the classroom and online. The minimum requirement is a Ph.D. degree in German Studies or a related field with near-native fluency in German.
