Instructor - Spanish

Job Description:

The Department of World Languages and Literatures is seeking Spanish Instructors to teach elementary and intermediate level Spanish courses starting in Fall 2022.

 

Minimum Qualifications
Education Level: Master's
Specific Degree: Master's degree in Spanish or related area.

 

Preferred Qualifications
Education Level: PhD
Specific Degree: PhD in Spanish or related area

Years Experience: 2
Specific Experience: Strong commitment to undergraduate teaching; familiarity with current language pedagogy; native-like fluency in Spanish proficiency. Additional Qualifications Desired: Experience at the university level.

COVID-19 Vaccine Protocol:

LSU requires the COVID-19 vaccine for all students, faculty, and staff or mandatory monthly testing. New employees must either submit proof of vaccination within three (3) days of their official start date, otherwise they will be entered into the mandatory monthly testing protocol beginning in November 2021.
