Assistant Professor - Shakespeare and Early Modern Drama

The Hudson Strode Program in Renaissance Studies in the Department of English at The University of Alabama invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in Shakespeare and early modern drama, to begin August 16, 2020. The successful candidate will maintain a productive research agenda, teach in our graduate and undergraduate programs, and provide service to the department as appropriate. The successful candidate will play an active role in the Strode Program, a privately endowed program that promotes the study of early modern British literature and culture through symposia and lectures by distinguished scholars and financial support for graduate students.
