Tenure Track Faculty in English 2022-2023

The Department of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of English, to begin in August 2022. By the time of appointment, candidates must hold a Ph.D. in English, preferably with a concentration in Rhetoric and Composition or a related field. Experience with writing curriculum development and/or writing program administration is desirable. Candidates should exhibit a personal and professional commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The successful candidate’s essential duties will include teaching required writing courses and creating new electives in areas of expertise and interest; continuing to develop professionally; and working with colleagues in our multidisciplinary liberal-arts department and the institute’s STEM departments, demonstrating service to the department, institute, and professional community.
