The English Department at Fort Lewis College offers a B.A. in English, Writing, and Journalism and Multi-Media Studies.
Responsibilities for this position include: teaching 21 credits each academic year in the Department of English, including core and elective courses for the major, composition courses, and courses in the General Education curriculum; participating in department events and programming, annual curriculum and program assessment; representing the department at recruitment events, commencement, and other campus-wide activities; mentoring undergraduate student research; and developing and teaching online and/or hybrid courses for the English Department
Candidates must have earned their Ph.D. in British Literature by August 2022. Candidates in all areas of British Literature may apply but preference will be given to candidates with specialized knowledge in pre-19th-century, modern and contemporary, or postcolonial British Literature and theory. Additionally, candidates should have experience teaching 100- and 200-level composition courses.
