Assistant Professor

Assistant Professor of English. The Department of English at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin August 2022. We seek candidates who can further our commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive curriculum and campus environment. We encourage applications from candidates with experience teaching and mentoring a diverse student body. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to research and teaching, with a PhD in their field.

We invite applications from candidates in literary studies or film studies in one or more of the following areas: African American and Africana Studies, Black Appalachian Literature, Chicano/Chicana or Latinx Studies, and Native American Studies.
