Tenure Track Position in English

Ouachita Baptist University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in English beginning fall of 2022. An in-hand terminal degree is preferred but strong candidates with substantial progress toward a terminal degree will be considered. The area of specialization is open. The successful candidate will show an aptitude for engaging undergraduates in the study of language, literature, and culture in our general education core and in advanced courses/special topics in the English major, with a 4/4 teaching load. Teaching at Ouachita entails a collegial commitment to professional, university, and community service in full support of Ouachita’s Christian liberal arts mission (see Vision, Mission, and Values Statement).
