Teaching Fellow

Teaching Fellow, Wesleyan University, German Department:

The Department of German Studies is seeking to hire a Teaching Fellow to teach intermediate and advanced German courses. Teaching load is 2-2. This is a one-year position with annual renewal options for up to three years. We are looking for a candidate who is trained in language pedagogy, is committed to curricular innovation, and is interested in a faculty career at a liberal arts college. The Teaching Fellow will be actively supported by a senior faculty teaching mentor and is eligible to receive funding to pursue research projects and attend professional meetings and conferences. The department is committed to cultivating a curriculum that reflects the diversity of contemporary German society and is inclusive and welcoming to all students.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. or plan to complete by September 1, 2022.
