Visiting Assistant Professor, World Languages and Literatures

The Department of World Languages and Literatures invites applications for a one year position at the level of Visiting Assistant Professor (Ph.D) or Lecturer (ABD) in the field of German Literature and Culture to begin the fall of 2022.  We are looking for a gifted teacher with demonstrated excellence in language teaching who will enthusiastically contribute to the major program and co-curricular activities.  Native or near-native fluency in German is required.  The area of specialization is open, but the ability to teach cinema or interdisciplinary studies is especially welcome.  Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until 4/1/2022.

Pay Range:  Commensurate with experience
