Visiting Assistant Professor - English

The English Department at the University of Missouri invites applications for a one-year, nonrenewable Visiting Assistant Professor position to teach upper division undergraduate classes in Victorian literature, a survey of British Literature 1789-the present, as well as upper division undergraduate classes in a critical theory area of the candidate’s choosing.  The candidate should have a PhD in hand by May 2022 and should be prepared to demonstrate excellence in undergraduate teaching through sample syllabi, a philosophy of teaching statement (500 words), and teaching evaluations from two courses. The successful candidate would teach a 3/3 load starting August 1, 2022.
