Visiting Assistant Professor of German

The School of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University of Missouri, Columbia, invites applications for a full-time, one-year position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor of German for the academic year 2022-23.

Job Description

Principal responsibilities will include teaching three German courses per semester at the intermediate and advanced undergraduate levels and at the graduate level, with all courses focusing on German language, literature, and culture.

Qualifications

Applicants must have native or near-native fluency in German and English. A PhD is required at the time of appointment. Applicants who are able to teach upper-level literature and culture courses will be given priority.
