Diversity Teaching Fellow Postdoc in Spanish

The St. Norbert College Faculty Diversity Postdoc Fellowship program is intended for early-career scholars from under-represented groups seeking careers at liberal arts colleges. The postdoc is open to scholars who have recently completed a Ph.D. in Spanish. Fellows will teach two undergraduate Spanish courses per semester. Applicants with research or teaching experience that engage with equity, diversity, inclusion or justice will receive priority. The program is intended to foster the growth of the Fellow’s pedagogy and scholarship with a primary focus of supporting equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging (EDIB) in a teaching-focused environment. The fellow will receive hands-on experience and support from a variety of mentors, and will report to the Dean of Curriculum and Senior Diversity Officer. Fellows will have the opportunity to work with different units within our campus community that include the Cassandra Voss Center (www.snc.edu/cvc/), a nationally recognized center for examining identity & inclusion, connecting theory, research, experiential learning, and co-curricular development for students and the greater community, the Center for Global Engagement (CGE), which is the hub of all international activity at St. Norbert College, and programs and initiatives on campus that report to the Dean of Curriculum and Senior Diversity Officer.
