Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish

The School of Languages, Literatures and Cultures invites applications for a 9-month, full-time, Visiting Assistant Professor position in Spanish, beginning August 2022.

Candidates for the Visiting Assistant Professor position should be generalists able to teach widely in current departmental offerings; the ability to teach courses in Professional Spanish is a plus. A Ph.D. in Spanish is required at the time of appointment.

Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English are required. Candidates will be evaluated on their record of two or more years of successful college-level teaching, a commitment to undergraduate education, and a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage in departmental service.
